Sight & Sound Theatres is unlike any theater experience you have encountered, and Pine Ridge Campground seasonal campers have the perfect excuse to make the trip to Lancaster County for a show. Located about 60 miles east in Ronks, PA, this world-class venue has been bringing stories to life on stage for nearly 50 years with a level of production value that draws visitors from across the country.

The theater's panoramic stage wraps nearly 300 feet around the audience, with sets that tower three stories tall. Live animals walk the aisles and appear on stage alongside professional actors, creating an immersive experience that goes far beyond a typical theater performance. Every original production is based on stories from the Bible, brought to life with elaborate costumes, original music, and dramatic lighting and special effects.

The 2026 Lancaster season features "Joshua," running from March through December. Shows typically run about two and a half hours with an intermission, and the theater seats over 2,000 guests. No visit is complete without picking up a bag of Sight & Sound's signature glazed almonds from the gift shop — they have become as much a tradition as the show itself.

For Pine Ridge seasonal campers, Sight & Sound makes an unforgettable day trip. The drive east takes about an hour and twenty minutes, and the theater is surrounded by other Lancaster County attractions — Kitchen Kettle Village, Strasburg Railroad, and Dutch Wonderland are all within a short drive, making it easy to build a full day around your show tickets.
