Our Story
Pine Ridge Campground was founded in 2017 with a simple vision: create a place where families can escape the hustle of everyday life and build lasting connections with nature and each other.
Nestled at 2,050 feet elevation in the beautiful Michaux State Forest, our campground offers 141 full-service seasonal RV sites on 17.5 acres. We're not just another campground - we're a community.
As a family-owned operation, we take pride in knowing our campers by name, hosting memorable events, and maintaining the kind of atmosphere where strangers become friends and friends become family.

The Family Behind Pine Ridge
Patti Haut, Stephen Haut, and their son Jamie Budesky started Pine Ridge in 2017 with one goal: create the campground they'd always wanted to stay at.
“We'd been to the corporate campgrounds — the ones with the 1-800 numbers and the rotating staff who didn't know anyone's name. We wanted something different. Something real.”
Today, we're proud to be one of the few remaining family-owned campgrounds in the Gettysburg area. While others have sold to billion-dollar corporations, we're still here. Still answering the phone ourselves. Still knowing every camper by name.
We're not shareholders — we're your neighbors.
