SMS Terms & Conditions

Pine Ridge Campground operates an SMS (text message) program to send important, operational messages to applicants and seasonal members. This page explains exactly what messages we send, how to join, how to opt out, and how your phone number is handled. By providing your phone number and checking the SMS opt-in box, you agree to these terms.

1. Program Description

Pine Ridge Campground sends SMS messages to applicants and seasonal site members for operational, account-related, and service-related purposes only. We do not send marketing, promotional, or third-party content through this SMS program.

Specifically, you may receive the following kinds of messages:

• Monthly meter reading reminders — sent on the last Friday through Sunday of each billing month with a secure link to submit your electric meter reading.
• Electric billing notifications — sent when a new monthly electric bill is ready, when a payment is due soon, or when a payment fails.
• Application status updates — sent to applicants about the status of their seasonal camping application, including reminders to complete an incomplete application.
• Account-related notifications — sent for time-sensitive items related to your member account or lease.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Most members receive 1 to 4 messages per month during the camping season. Applicants generally receive fewer messages, typically tied to the lifecycle of their application.

3. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Pine Ridge does not charge you for SMS messages. Your wireless carrier may charge you for incoming and outgoing text messages, depending on your plan. Please check with your wireless carrier for specific rates that may apply to you.

4. How to Opt In

You can join the Pine Ridge SMS program in any of these ways:

• Apply for a site: When submitting a seasonal camping application at staypineridge.com/apply, you can check the SMS opt-in box and provide your phone number. The opt-in is voluntary; you can submit an application without it.
• Member portal: Existing seasonal members can opt in or out at any time inside the member portal under Settings → Notifications → Text Messages (SMS).
• Reply START: If you previously opted out, you may rejoin by replying START, YES, or UNSTOP to any of our messages.

When you opt in, you will receive a one-time confirmation message similar to: "Pine Ridge Campground: You are now opted in to receive operational SMS (meter reading and billing reminders). Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Msg & data rates may apply."

5. How to Opt Out

You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP (or any of: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message you receive from us. You will receive a final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from this program.

You can also turn off SMS in your member portal under Settings → Notifications → Text Messages (SMS), or contact us at the phone or email below. Opting out of SMS does not affect your email notifications, your lease, or your service.

7. Carriers & Delivery

We send SMS messages through Twilio Inc., a CTIA-compliant US messaging provider, over carrier networks including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Privacy

Your phone number is used only to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. 9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of the phone number you provide. By opting in, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
