Carlisle Camping FAQ
How far is Pine Ridge from the Carlisle Fairgrounds?
Pine Ridge is approximately 35 minutes from the Carlisle Fairgrounds. It's an easy drive via Route 34 through scenic Adams County. Many campers find this distance perfect - close enough for easy access, far enough for peaceful evenings.
Do you offer nightly camping for Carlisle Events?
No, Pine Ridge is 100% seasonal. However, if you attend multiple Carlisle Events each year, a seasonal site makes perfect sense. You'd have a guaranteed spot for Spring Carlisle, Ford Nationals, Corvettes at Carlisle, Fall Carlisle, and every event in between - plus you can use it all summer long.
Is Pine Ridge good for car collectors?
Absolutely! Many of our seasonal campers are car enthusiasts who appreciate having a secure, tree-lined location for their RV and tow vehicle. The 24/7 RFID-gated security gives peace of mind when you're at the fairgrounds all day.
Can I leave my car trailer at my site during Carlisle Events?
Yes! Each 10'x60' site has room for your RV plus a trailer or tow vehicle. Many campers keep their enclosed car trailers on-site during the season.
What do campers do between Carlisle Events?
Pine Ridge is surrounded by activities. Gettysburg is 30 minutes away, we have ATV trail access to Michaux State Forest, there are wineries 15 minutes away, and the Appalachian Trail passes right by. Many campers spend more time at camp than at the car shows!
